I had the privilege to meet many old friends and teachers at the 125th anniversary celebrations this past December. Every one had wonderful stories and memories to share about their time at the Daly College. So here is an invitation to all our readers to send in their essays as blog entries for this blog. We promise, we will post every entry we receive.

Daly College celebrates its 125 anniversary!

Looks like it is going to be a massive party. Reminds me of the centenary celebrations back in 1982, when I was a first grader. Several events and parties planned for the 4 day affair. Please check www.dalycollege.org for more details.

All member schools are expected to play a full part in the responsibilities and activities of the Round Square . Its origin comes from the philosophy of Kurt Hahn . He believed in educating young people for life in the fullest sense. The common goal is to develop every student into a whole person. Programmes initiated by Round Square help, institutionally and culturally different, but like-minded schools to work together through service projects, annual conferences, exchanges, and outdoors expeditions.

Daly College celebrates 125 years

If you happen to be in Indore in the first week of December, then this is probably going to be the party to be at! Daly College is celebrating its 125th anniversary, and going by the spectacle we pulled off for the centenary celebrations in 1982, it is going to be well worth it.

We are going to get a bit more active on this blog and beyond to have some activities of our own around this event. So please keep checking.

We need you to spread the word among your friends and anyone else you know who went to Daly College. So please, send an email to all your OD friends about this site. Right away. We need you to continue to share information about any new developments in your life. This has to be a living and breathing site. And nothing infuses more life into it than your posts.

By the way, the same hold true for us (the Editors) too :) We promise to be more disciplined going forward. But never forget that this site is more about you and what you have to say, and less about us.

Hi folks, The Daly College
This blog is an attempt to bring Old Dalians in touch with one another. A place for you to tell old friends where you are, what you've been up to, or what's new with you. A place for you to catch up with others or give someone a shout out.

The way you do that is pretty simple. Just drop an email with your message (use the link on the right) along with the year you graduated, and it'll be published. Your posts will be sorted out by year of graduation (see links on the right.)

The blog is run by a few Old Dalians. We are, however, looking for volunteers to be class reps. Drop us an email if you are up for it.

That’s pretty much it from our side. The rest is all about your posts and messages.
